Preparing for Hurricane Michael

As all of us on the east coast prepare for Hurricane Michael, Nexxtep would like to offer some advice on keeping your business safe and sound.

If you are subscribing to our backup service (StorGuard), you do not have to worry about your backups. Nexxtep monitors your backups daily to ensure that they are working and the data is stored securely offsite.

In the event of an impending power outage, we recommend that you shut down your computers. If you would like Nexxtep to properly shut down your computers, please give us a call and we will schedule it with you. If your business will remain open, please ensure all computer and networking equipment is plugged into a surge protection device.

The Nexxtep office will remain open. Call us at 229-671-1513 if you have any questions.
